Ring Hike to Portette, Claus & Valscura Lakes – Gesso Valley – Italy

This fairly long circular hike is one of the most spectacular trails of the Maritime Alps, inside the old hunting reserve of king Vittorio Emanuele II.

Starting in the Valasco plateau and following the path of an old military path, we reach the Questa refuge, on the bankside of the beautiful Portette lake. We then get to the Claus and the Valscura lakes. If you enjoy long walks and stunning backdrops, this is one not to miss.
