Embrace the Change

Ever felt like stuck in a rut and unhappy with your current life choices?

Ever wish your life was different?

Sometimes to simply stop overthinking and wishing something better will come from nowhere and TAKE ACTION!

Get rid of the toxic, intrusive thoughts or negative energy that might surround us, start making a change and focus more on living the NOW.

I know sometimes changes can be scary but remember: when you embrace change, you automatically open up your life to the prospect of growth and beautiful brand new opportunities.

Maybe I am speaking this way because I am recently going through a period of big changes in my life and I’d like my experience to inspire you.

As you all know I am very passionate in what I do, I dedicated my career to fitness and all things wellbeing. That’s what I do for a living and I believe it’s extremely important that I do it in a happy and inspiring place and that I do what I preach myself. Recently, my good mood and dedication were affected badly by my working environment. So I have decided to make a change. It was scary to take the final decision, as I was very much used to my routine, confortable with the money and very attached to clients and people in my working place. But somehow I was feeling that days, weeks were passing by and I wasn’t enjoying or feeling fulfilled by what I was doing anymore.

Now that I made the decision and I made the CHANGE happen, I feel very good about myself, more confident and more inspired. I can see a world of possibilities and I have finally the time to start working on projects that before I couldn’t even see because I was too busy.

So I’ve decided to put what I learnt “on paper” (or better…on-line!) and give you some food for thought, that hopefully will help you face some similar situations.

Here are my 5 reasons why you should embrace change rather than reject it.

  1. CHANGE makes you stronger

Sometimes, change is hard to accept and even harder to deal with, but overcoming these tough times in your life will make you stronger in the long run.

  1. CHANGE brings new opportunity

“If you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done” and the only way you will discover new roads is by being brave enough to drive off the one you always take.

  1. CHANGE promotes personal growth

One of the greatest things change teaches you is to trust in yourself.

Once you’ve got through that potential initial down time, you will dedicate all your energy to something which will make you feel more inspired, more fulfilled, maybe more challenged. You’ll soon realise that you can now shut the door on whatever you walked away from, and the reasons why you made that choice will be immediately clearer to your eyes, making you trust a little more on your intuition.

  1. CHANGE keeps life interesting

“If nothing ever changed there’d be no butterflies”.

Humans are an inquisitive species. What happened to the man who never deviated from his routine? Nothing!

Change is what keeps life fun and interesting.

  1. CHANGE pushes you out of your comfort zone

And we all know that’s where the magic happens!

When change comes crashing in, it’s totally okay to feel it, just don’t let yourself down for too long. Sure! it might be uncomfortable to start with, but most good things in life are… like new shoes! So instead of resisting, spend a little bit of time adjusting… after the initial blisters, you’ll make them adapt to you in no time!

Sometimes change happens by chance. While there is some change we can’t control, what we can control is how we choose to deal with it. Life has this intuitive ability to somehow give us exactly what we need, exactly when we need it (even if we can’t see it at the time). So instead of obsessing over those events, look at it as the universe saving you from a situation that is making you unhappy.
